Multi Factor Authentication Required for Students Starting April 8

Multi Factor Authentication Required for Students Starting April 8

On Wednesday, April 8th, at 4 PM, we will deploy multi-factor authentication for all high school students via Clever.

Why this matters:

To help keep your accounts and personal information safe, our school is adding an extra layer of security called Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This means that when you log in to your school accounts—like Google, Microsoft, or Clever—you’ll be asked to confirm it’s really you using a second step, like a 6 digit pin. It’s quick and easy, and it helps protect you from hackers and other online threats.

Setting up your MFA method for the first time:

  • Upon first login you’ll be prompted with a Verification Required screen. Click continue
  • You’ll be redirected to Clever to set up your MFA method
  • Choose your preferred MFA method

[If Choosing PIN] Choose something that is unique and only you would know! Click Done!

[If choosing Picture] Pick your first animal picture. Pick your second picture. Click Next!

Now when you login you’ll be prompted for your MFA option you set up.

Enter your unique pictures or pin and you’ll be redirected into your account!
